Our specialized driving assessments and practice sessions are designed to restore confidence, promote safe driving habits, and maintain independence on the road.


Our experienced occupational therapists and certified driving evaluators work with individuals facing challenges related to vision, cognition, mobility, or emotional well-being. We provide tailored recommendations—including adaptive equipment and vehicle modifications—to make driving safer and more accessible.


Our Driving Evaluation Process

  1. Comprehensive Functional Assessment – Evaluating key skills such as vision, cognitive function, attention, motor abilities, and reaction time.
  2. On-the-Road Driving Test – Assessing your driving performance in real-world conditions.
     

Based on your results, we provide clear, personalized feedback, which may include:

  • Specialized driver retraining programs
  • Therapy sessions to improve driving-related skills
  • Adaptive equipment or vehicle modifications
     

Adaptive Solutions We Offer:

  • DriveABLE cognitive screening for mild impairment 
  • Steering wheel modifications, signal extenders, adapted mirrors, and seating adjustments for easier transfers or limited spinal rotation

Functional Capacity Evaluations

Workplace Ergonomic Assessments and Long term Disability from Injury lawyers & Insurance claims

Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) are comprehensive assessments conducted by our occupational therapists, to evaluate an individual's physical and functional abilities in relation to their capacity to perform work-related tasks. These evaluations are often used in the context of rehabilitation, return-to-work planning, disability determination, and litigation related to work-related injuries or illnesses.
Often, Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE's) are required by:

  • injury lawyers
  • insurance claims
  • motor vehicle accidents

Future Cost of Care Analysis (FCCA)

A Future Cost of Care Analysis may be conducted to establish potential lost wages and costs of extended therapies, medications, and services related to injury. In-court appearances may be provided for expert testimony.
